SmartVault CEO To Share Insights on Cloud Computing

Expert on data security, compliance, and cloud computing begins series of speaking engagements for the accounting profession

HOUSTON, TX – October 21, 2010 – SmartVault (www.smartvault.com),

today announced that CEO, Eric Pulaski, will soon kick off a series of speaking
engagements that take him to Canada and across the United States. With more
than 20 years of network security system experience, Pulaski will address many
hot topics within the profession—including security of client data is
a SaaS world, compliance, and what is required to set up shop in the Cloud.
Pulaski’s speaking tour begins this month at Sage’s Simply Partnership
2010 conference in Vancouver, BC.

“I’m looking forward to sharing what I know about the Cloud and
answering all the security questions that always come with it,” stated
SmartVault founder and CEO, Eric Pulaski. “The accounting profession is
picking up the pace in terms of adopting SaaS-based applications, but overall
is still slow to adopt. My goal is to educate accounting professionals about
the Cloud in an effort to make them more comfortable with the technology and,
ultimately, move them toward full adoption.”

Pulaski will share such information as why storing and sharing documents and
data in the Cloud is more secure than traditional methods such as email. He
will also provide insight into the efficiencies that online collaboration offers
firms, as well as best practices for securely sharing files between firm and
client.

“My main goal is to educate,” Pulaski restated. “As humans,
we are innately resistant to what we don’t understand. The unknown is
risky, and accountants don’t tend to like risk. Through education, the
‘unknown’ factor is removed so firms can begin to move forward.”

Pulaski’s speaking tour begins at the Sage Simply Partnership conference
in Canada. Subsequent engagements include The Sleeter Group Accounting Solutions
Conference and Accounting Today’s Growth & Profitability Summit.
